The PV Master 70 is NEO’s flagship multichannel IV curve tracer, testing up to 28 strings simultaneously with 1500V/40A capability and 0.05% accuracy.

A single pass combines leakage detection with distance-to-fault localisation and automatic fault diagnosis — covering PID, hotspots, cell cracks, bypass diode breakage, soiling, and the parallel mismatch losses few other instruments can detect — fully IEC 62446-2 compliant, with the results landing in an automatically generated PDF report. It also supports the latest high-efficiency cell technologies, including N-type, P-type, HJT, and TOPCON modules, with under 1% accuracy at the MPP point.

With the extension boxes, the PV Master 10 can easily be adapted to a multi-channel IV curve measuring device. As can be seen in the connection diagrams on the left and right, it is very easy to connect the extension box and the PV Master, then only the strings need to be connected and the measurement can begin.

SENSORBOX OPTIONS:

The “Light” and “Expert” sensor boxes offer optimal environmental sensors with easy connection to the PV Master. Simply connect them via cable, and the STC curve can be generated.

Sensor Box Light V2

The “Sensorbox Light” by default has a class C pyranometer for measuring the solar irradiation and two PT100 sensors (one external, one internal) for measuring the ambient and module temperature.

For this option only cable connection to PV Master 10 is supported.

With a clamp it can be easily mounted parallel to the PV Module for correct sensing of irradiance.

5. EXPORT

The instrument can automatically generate reports and professional documentation. The user can create reports that include all information (location, comments, company logo, etc) directly on-site or during post processing. PDF reports that are saved on the instrument are always available and can be shared directly via email. Data can be exported into CSV, XLS, PDF.

6. OTHER PROGRAMS

The instrument uses Microsoft Windows© as the operating system. Programs such as Microsoft Excel, Word or Matlab can be added as well as Email messaging services.
